Raucous The Capitol Dome Crowd Propels Capitols to 8-4 Victory; Series Tied at 3
The Augusta Capitols and the London Tigers will take the League Championship Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Capitols beat the Tigers, 8-4, at The Capitol Dome to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Augusta right fielder Chuck Crabtree was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4.

A key moment came with two out in the bottom of the second. That's when Crabtree hit a fastball from Antonio Mendoza for a 2-run double, putting Augusta up, 5-3.

"There's nothing like the postseason," said Crabtree, "to ramp up the pressure."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Capitol Dome in Augusta.
