Skidding Thunder Wolves Lose 6th Straight
Little Rock Grounds was the site of some high drama.

The Little Rock Golden Gophers defeated the Tacoma Thunder Wolves, 5-4, at Little Rock Grounds. Little Rock designated hitter Chris Pinson had a superb performance. He went 3-3 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. The win was credited to Marcos Patino in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jim Unknown took the loss.

Chris Benedict was the walk-off hero for Little Rock. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Golden Gophers center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Tacoma manager Alfonso Estrada.

The Thunder Wolves are now 7-14.
