The Providence Hex handed the Tacoma Thunder Wolves a 6-5 defeat at Ballpark of Providence. Catcher Pete DiBiaso starred for Providence. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Pat Gannon finished the game for Providence and earned his 1st save. With the win, Providence boosts its record to 5-5.

Providence designated hitter Ross Howard helped the Hex go up, 6-5, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Howard hit a run-scoring single off Tacoma pitcher Jim Unknown.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Howard told the Providence Daily.
