Walker on Fire, 5-for-6 Against Juneau Monday, May 18th , 2026 Mike Walker was at the head of a Picture Rocks hit parade at Ballpark of Picture Rocks. The first baseman went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Raptors to a nice 20-19 victory over the Juneau Sled Dogs. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Walker told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Sled Dogs skipper Jordan Nolasco said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Mike Walker singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Sandy Torres in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
