Buckeye Local Loses Wu for Year Monday, May 18th , 2026 The season is ending on a bad note for Xiao-mei Wu, starting pitcher for the Buckeye Local Panthers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Wu was hurt against the Crystal Lake Killers while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for at least 13 months. So far this season, Wu has a record of 0-12 with 10 strikeouts and 19 walks in 41.1 innings and a 9.36 ERA. |
