Gallardo Has 37-Game Hitting Streak Thursday, May 14th , 2026 Jose Gallardo ran his hitting streak to 37 straight games at Cincinnati Grounds, when he collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Chuluota Imperials dropped the game, 2-1, to the Buckeye Local Panthers. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Gallardo said later.
