Cantu Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Tuesday, May 5th , 2026 It was a big day for Tony Cantu and he brought the Riverside Wolverines along for the ride. Cantu led his club to victory, 10-9, over the San Bernardino Flight at Wolverines Ballpark, smoking San Bernardino pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 19-year-old second baseman later called the victory "sweet." Tony Cantu singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, walked in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
