Killers Prevail, as Division Series Goes to the Wire Thursday, September 19th , 2024 In an exciting Division Series that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is ABA Rookie League fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Crystal Lake Killers, who edged the Haviland Thrashers 4-3 to advance to the League Championship Series. Crystal Lake won the final game by a 9-2 count to wrap up the series. T.J. Herrera earned series MVP honors, by hitting .481 with a .533 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Crystal Lake Killers will play against the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes in the next round. Ft.
