Mounties Heading to World Series Wednesday, September 24th , 2025 The Moncton Mounties are one step closer to the World Series. The club prevailed 15-8 at Eláguila Stadia tonight to eliminate the Whitby Bats and advance to the World Series. The Mounties won the series by a 4-1 margin, with first baseman and series MVP Aaron Nelson leading the way. "I'm proud of all the guys," Nelson said. "This was a team effort, not just me." The Moncton Mounties don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes - Jacksonville Nationals series.
