Moncton's Vega Top Pitcher in August Sunday, September 1st , 2024 August was a magical month for Tony Vega of Moncton. He held the Northern Conference hitters spellbound, conjuring up a 6-0 mark and a 2.02 ERA. Vega also chalked up 6 starts, 40 innings and 28 strikeouts. For this outstanding performance he was rewarded with the Pitcher of the Month trophy. For the year, Vega has compiled a 11-6 record with a 4.61 ERA. |
