Pizzuti Wins NC Prize, Named Best Hitter in August Sunday, September 1st , 2024 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 18 Kevin Pizzuti has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Moncton Mounties star can enjoy the numbers he put up in August, which have garnered him the nod as the Northern Conference Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .441 average with 13 home runs, 38 RBIs and 29 runs scored. Currently Pizzuti is batting .369 with 66 hits and 21 home runs. He has knocked in 63 runs and scored 50 times. |
