Nelson Sizzles -- Smokes Princes for 5 Hits Sunday, September 7th , 2025 Aaron Nelson exploded for a barrage of base hits at Lincoln Grounds. The Moncton first baseman had a field day in his team's 13-1 triumph over the Lincoln Princes, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Nelson must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Aaron Nelson doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Roberto Gonzalez in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 9th.
