Miklavcic Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Friday, September 5th , 2025 Rich Miklavcic has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 19-year-old Moncton Mounties left fielder extended his streak to 20 games, going 1-for-2 as Moncton got the best of the Long Island Torpedoes at Mapleton Yards, 7-6. "Rich has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Mounties manager Johnny Hoffman said. Rich Miklavcic walked in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and walked in the 9th. So far this year, Miklavcic is hitting .455 with 10 home runs. |
