Thrashers Advance to League Championship Series Friday, September 15th , 2023 The Haviland Thrashers and Riverside Wolverines hooked up in a classic Division Series that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's Haviland heading off to the League Championship Series, after a 2-1 win at Wolverines Ballpark tonight earned the 4-3 series win. Outside Wolverines Ballpark, whether they were supporters of Haviland or Riverside, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Edwin Arroyo played the hero for the Thrashers in the series, as his MVP performance included a .357 batting average, with a .438 on-base percentage. He also had 2 home runs, 2 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Haviland Thrashers will play against the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes in the next round. Ft. Wayne won their series against the Jacksonville Nationals 4 games to 1.
