Earthquakes Advance to League Championship Series Tuesday, September 12th , 2023 The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes will continue the trek towards a World Series title, while the Jacksonville Nationals are headed home for the season. Ft. Wayne won the Division Series with a clinching game 12-0 victory at Nationals Park, concluding the series at 4-1. "We didn't want this thing to go any further, that's for sure," John Hall said after officially being named series MVP. He turned in a dominant offensive performance to win the award, with a .400 batting average, .478 on-base percentage, 4 home runs, 6 RBI and 7 runs scored. The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Haviland Thrashers - Riverside Wolverines series. Haviland leads the series 3 games to 2.
