Chargers Win Division Series Monday, September 11th , 2023 Adam Mathis sparked his Terra Linda Chargers past the pesky Borrego Springs Rams in a closely-contested Division Series. Terra Linda topped Borrego Springs 11-0 at Club Circle Park to decide the series, 4-1 For his efforts, Mathis was rewarded with the series MVP trophy for his .333 batting average, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. "You never want to leave anything on the field," Mathis said. "You never want to miss a play of defense you could have made, or give up an extra base you could have gotten, because in a series this tight you never know what you'll need to win." The Terra Linda Chargers will play against the Buffalo Bellflowers in the next round. Buffalo won their series against the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates 4 games to 0.
