Hickey Wins SC Best Player Award Monday, August 28th , 2023 The premier performer in the Southern Conference this week was Jamie Hickey of the Buckeye Local Panthers. The hot-hitting 22-year-old shortstop put up a .571 average and .630 on-base percentage, piling up 12 hits in 21 at-bats, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 5 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the SC Player of the Week honors. Hickey is hitting .306 so far this season with 93 RBIs and 88 runs scored. He has 139 hits including 35 home runs, 65 walks and .395 OBP. |
