The Math Says - Tiverton Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 26th , 2023 It's the better-luck-next-time point of the season for the Tiverton Colonels. The club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today, and will turn their attention to next year's campaign. "You know, the average player doesn't get that many seasons, so every time you're eliminated, it hurts," said Colonels second baseman Justin Morgan. This is the club's 10th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2013. In total, the Colonels have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 23-year history. Tiverton last won the World Series in 2004. |
