Hit Parade: Malone Pops 5 Hits Friday, August 16th , 2024 Chris Malone was the King of Swing at Franklin Park in the 18-0 Whitby Bats win over the Franklin Cubs. The Whitby shortstop stepped into the batter's box 5 times against Franklin and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. "Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-5 isn't bad for your batting average either." Chris Malone singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
