Year Over for Killers Kaufman Wednesday, August 14th , 2024 Billy Kaufman will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Crystal Lake starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Kaufman was injured while throwing a pitch in the Killers-Wolverines clash at Killer Stadium recently. Doctors said he has a torn rotator cuff and would be out a minimum of 12 months. This season, Kaufman has fashioned a 9-4 mark and 2.90 ERA in 114.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .260 against him and he has logged 119 strikeouts. |
