Wolverines Rodriguez Raps 3 Homers Sunday, August 7th , 2022 Riverside left fielder Rogelio Rodriguez led the Wolverines to a triumph, 11-8, over the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers, crushing three home runs. "He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Riverside skipper Chris Rauch. Indeed, Rodriguez put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 3 runs and 4 RBIs. "I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Rodriguez said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em." Rogelio Rodriguez flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Aaron Kent in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jesus Garcia in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jesus Garcia in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. So far this season, Rodriguez has recorded a .148 batting average with 40 hits, 17 home runs, 26 RBIs, 40 runs scored and a .256 OBP. |
