Hunt Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Monday, May 25th , 2026 The San Bernardino Flight may have proven to be mere mortals as they lost, 7-4, to the Picture Rocks Raptors, but Kevin Hunt continued to hit like a god. The first baseman collected 2 hits in 5 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "Hunt is playing great and is on fire right now," Flight manager Nick Neumann said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." Hunt was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Kevin Hunt hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. Hunt is hitting .400 in 2026 with 7 RBIs and 1 home run. |
