Hernandez Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Sunday, May 24th , 2026 Nobody has been able to shut down Borrego Springs Rams first baseman Alex Hernandez in recent days. The Terra Linda Chargers fared no better than the rest. Today at Ballpark of Plantersville, Hernandez picked up 2 hits in 3 at-bats en route to a win, 3-1. It stretched his hitting string to 20 consecutive games. Alex Hernandez grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jonathan Chavez in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Hernandez is currently hitting .354 with 4 home runsand 21 RBIs, while scoring 30 runs. |
