Abingdon Snaps Orr Streak at 20 Saturday, May 23rd , 2026 Tyler Orr of the Franklin Cubs came up empty at the plate and went hitless in 3 at-bats for the first time in 20 games. Making matters even worse for the first baseman, Franklin dropped the game to the Abingdon Archers, 3-2. "It was not a good day today," Orr told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." So far this season, Orr has gotten 63 hits in 143 at-bats for a .441 batting average with 18 home runs. His stats include 54 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has played in 36 games. |
