Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Orr Friday, May 22nd , 2026 Tyler Orr has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 20-year-old Franklin Cubs first baseman extended his streak to 20 games, going 3-for-6 as Franklin got the best of the Abingdon Archers at Chupacabras Stadium, 16-0. "Tyler has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Cubs manager Kerry McElree said. Tyler Orr grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. At the moment, Orr is hitting .450 with 18 home runs and 54 RBIs. He has played in 35 games and scored 43 times. |
