Valenta Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, May 21st , 2026 Bryan Valenta, first baseman for the Haviland Thrashers, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 15-7 victory over the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers at Field of the Sunchasers. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Bryan Valenta flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. Thus far this year, Valenta has hit .442 with 18 home runs and 60 RBIs. |
