Blum Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Crystal Lake Thursday, June 5th , 2025 Steve Blum's 27-game hitting streak was snapped at Ballpark of San Bernardino. The 20-year-old San Bernardino Flight left fielder failed to get a hit in 5 at-bats in the game against the Crystal Lake Killers, but San Bernardino came out the winner, 8-4. "I don't think the streak was ever a big deal to Steve," Flight manager Nick Neumann said after the game. "He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames." This season, Blum is hitting .435 with 60 hits, 5 home runs, 35 RBIs, scored 24 runs and played in 41 games. |
