Crystal Lake Snaps Poole Streak at 38 Wednesday, June 4th , 2025 The San Bernardino Flight lost to the Crystal Lake Killers, 15-3, at Ballpark of San Bernardino, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Ronald Poole's 38-game hitting streak. The shortstop went 0-for-4 on the day. "We felt if we could slow down Poole, we would win the game," Killers manager Steve Warzecha explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down." Currently Poole is batting .429 with 14 home runs and 38 RBIs. |
