Hodge Raps Whitby for 5 Hits Wednesday, May 21st , 2025 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Jason Hodge. Hodge went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Whitby pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Club Circle Park, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Borrego Springs Rams had a win, 14-2, over the Bats. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Jason Hodge hit a three-run home run off Keith Price in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Luis Perez in the 4th, singled in the 5th and singled in the 7th. This season, Hodge has posted a batting average of .366 with 60 hits in 164 at-bats, 6 home runs and 33 RBIs. He has also scored 28 runs, walked 18 times and compiled a .438 OBP.
