Franklin's Dankenbring Chosen NC Batter of the Month Thursday, June 1st , 2023 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 20 Paul Dankenbring has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Franklin Cubs star can enjoy the numbers he put up in May, which have garnered him the nod as the Northern Conference Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .291 average with 16 home runs, 41 RBIs and 34 runs scored. For the season, Dankenbring has hit .275 with 24 home runs and 59 RBIs. He has played in 53 games and scored 59 times. |
