May's #1 Batter Announced Thursday, June 1st , 2023 Justin Dawson made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Southern Conference this past month. The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes designated hitter shined through the month of May and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 20-year-old hit .313 with 15 home runs, 31 RBIs and 30 runs scored. So far this season, Dawson has gotten 52 hits in 184 at-bats for a .283 batting average with 27 home runs. His stats include 56 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has played in 54 games. |
