York Hitless, Stopped by Nationals Tuesday, May 30th , 2023 Riverside Wolverines second baseman Jaden York finally met his Waterloo. A 25-game hitting spree is now history after York was unable to make anything happen in 4 at-bats today against the Jacksonville Nationals. Fortunately for York and the Wolverines, the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game, 4-2. "We're a true team here," he said. "For 25 games I've been able to contribute, but I always believed these guys would take care of things if I couldn't some day." A look at his season totals shows York with 14 home runs, .353 BA, .459 OBP, 34 RBIs and 36 runs scored. |
