Jesse Alexander Injured, Out for Year Thursday, May 25th , 2023 The Whitby Bats were dealt a blow today when reliever Jesse Alexander left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Alexander has suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. So far this season, Alexander has a 0-0 won-lost record with no saves. He has made 9 relief appearances, logged 15.1 innings and fanned 22 batters while fashioning a 3.52 ERA and allowing the opposition a .203 batting average. |
