SC's Best Player Named Monday, May 8th , 2023 Sunrise Manor Sunchasers fans are celebrating Matt Mellberg's selection as Southern Conference Player of the Week. Mellberg put up some serious numbers over the past seven days as he cracked 10 hits in 21 at-bats. The 20-year-old third baseman hit .476, drove in 13 runs, scored 8 times and hit 6 home runs. Mellberg is hitting .301 in 2023 with 27 RBIs and 13 home runs. |
