Northwestern Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Wednesday, April 24th , 2024 Even the most die-hard fans of the Northwestern Wildcats will likely now start focusing on next year. The team was today mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. "We're disappointed," said Wildcats first baseman Brian Collins. "Not just for ourselves, but also for the fans that stick with us every year." This is the 5th time in a row that the Wildcats have missed the playoffs.Their last playoff appearance was in 2019. |
