Lowder Crushes 3 Homers Against Miami Sunday, May 3rd , 2026 It's a rare event when a player hits three homers in a game and rarer still when he does it and loses. It happened at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field, as Aaron Lowder of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish unloaded three times against the Miami Hurricanes but was still bumped off, 9-6, by the Hurricanes. "We were lucky to win today," said Miami skipper Josh Roberson. "You can't give up that many home runs and expect to win on a regular basis."
