UCF's Vasquez to Miss 8 Months Thursday, April 30th , 2026 When Chris Vasquez was hurt against the Houston Cougars, the UCF Knights were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 21-year-old starting pitcher suffered a torn labrum throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Vasquez would miss 8 months of the season. For the season, Vasquez has logged 4 wins and 3 losses and struck out 51 batters in 57.2 innings while compiling a 2.97 ERA. |
