Larson 5-for-6 for UCF Thursday, April 13th , 2023 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but UCF's Bobby Larson made it happen against the Red Raiders. Everything came together at the plate for the 21-year-old first baseman as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Knights triumph, 11-10, at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Larson said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Bobby Larson hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. At present, Larson is batting .333 with 28 hits and 3 home runs. He has knocked in 17 runs and scored 14 times. |
