Tar Heels Corey McKeone Wins SL1 Award Monday, April 10th , 2023 Corey McKeone is respected by most North Carolina Tar Heels fans for his no-frills style of play. The 19-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Conference 1 Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .692 average (9-for-13) with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Batting .392 to date, McKeone has 7 home runs and 22 RBIs. |
