Great Stroke: Hazlett Gets 5 Hits Tuesday, March 26th , 2024 Thanks to Chris Hazlett and his big bat, the Blue Devils derailed the Iowa Hawkeyes, 9-0, at Duane Banks Field. The Duke left fielder had a standout game with 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Chris Hazlett singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Adam Thomas in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off George Harris in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Hazlett is batting .358 this year with 7 home runs, 14 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has 19 hits in 53 at-bats. |
