Conference 2 Picks Top Player Monday, April 6th , 2026 When it came to hitting the baseball, Travis Heimbach was in a class by himself in the Conference 2 this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding second baseman for Kansas State tagged opposing pitchers for a .480 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 12 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 homers, 8 runs scored and 8 RBIs. This season, Heimbach is batting .301 with 7 home runs. |
