League scouts now see Harrison as a future starter following a productive offseason Monday, March 10th , 2025 This offseason, Jeremy Harrison focused on improving his stamina to potentially make the jump from reliever to starter. Jeremy Harrison worked with the team’s strength coaches to build endurance, incorporating longer training sessions and conditioning drills aimed at increasing his ability to pitch deeper into games. In addition to physical conditioning, he refined his mechanics to maintain his velocity and effectiveness for extended innings. He also adjusted his bullpen sessions to simulate the demands of a starting role, throwing more pitches and focusing on pacing himself throughout. While he started off slow, by the end of the training he was able to sustain a higher intent behind his pitches for much longer. The decision to shift to a starting role will ultimately be up to the coaching staff, but Jeremy Harrison’s increased stamina and durability have put him firmly in the conversation. And while his role for the season is still to be determined, Jeremy Harrison is positioning himself well for the future and offers the Indiana Hoosiers far more rotational depth. |
