Vanderbilt's Kwait Down with Injury Saturday, May 6th , 2023 A blow for Jon Kwait today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 12 months with a torn labrum. Kwait suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Vanderbilt Commodores are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Kwait's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. To date this year, Kwait shows a 3-3 record, 10 starts, 52.1 innings, 27 strikeouts and a 4.47 ERA. |
