California Celebrates Wild Card Win Friday, May 5th , 2023 It wasn't the Conference 1 ACC crown that the California Golden Bears set out to win, but that didn't stop the players and coaches from celebrating their postseason berth excitedly. "All we've got to do is get hot and the next thing you know we'll be in the College World Series," said starting pitcher Jamie Knudson. "Everyone in the league knows we're capable of going on a run and can be dangerous." The club's 29-21 record has guaranteed them a shot in the postseason, where they will be looking for the 1st ABA College championship in franchise history. |
