Longhorns Chris Blahnik Will Miss Season Wednesday, May 3rd , 2023 Chris Blahnik will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Texas reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Blahnik was injured while throwing a pitch in the Longhorns-Cyclones clash at Cap Timm Field recently. Doctors said he has a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 9 months. For the season, Blahnik is 1-and-1 with no saves and a 9.00 ERA. He has given up 36 hits in 22 innings with 16 strikeouts. |
