Carl Bennett Hurt, Out for Year Monday, April 24th , 2023 The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets were dealt a blow today when starting pitcher Carl Bennett left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Bennett has suffered a torn labrum and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. To date this season, Bennett sports a 4-1 mark with a 4.71 ERA in 8 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .270 batting average and has 30 strikeouts in 36.1 innings. |
