American Conference Picks Skipper of the Year Sunday, November 13th , 2022 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of David Morris, he seems to have taken the Halifax Heathens to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the American Conference for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Morris led Halifax to a first place finish in the American Conference South Division. The Heathens ended up with a 105-57 record. |
