Falcones Strokes 5 Hits
|
Sergio Falcones was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Eddie Pellagrini Diamond, the Virginia Tech left fielder blistered the Boston College Eagles for 5 hits in 7 at-bats to pace his club to a good 14-8 victory.
"Falcones was too tough to get out," Eagles skipper Alex Santos said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
