The Crystal Lake Killers finished off the Chuluota Imperials, 8-4. Much of the credit belonged to catcher Chris Terry. Terry went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Killers. At 71-63, the Killers are currently second in the Southern Conference West Division.

Crystal Lake used the timely hitting of Rafael Miranda to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Killers ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Miranda told the Crystal Lake Daily News.
