Flight Get Past Sunrise Manor for 1-0 Win
The Sunrise Manor Sunchasers got a superb performance from pitcher Josh Van Nice. Still, it wasn't enough to beat San Bernardino. The Flight won the game, 1-0. Van Nice threw 5.0 innings of shutout ball. The winner in relief was Gabe Pena. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-9. The win makes San Bernardino 46-81.

San Bernardino used the timely hitting of Steve Blum to capture the win. The left fielder socked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Flight ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Blum told the San Bernardino Citizen.
